query regarding some matters in APP

Good day!

one of my task is to certify the requested item is within the approved APP, i have a column there and i need to sign it. now my question is.

1. we have submitted our APP last quarter of last year (2010) but up to now we dont have the official communication from our c.O. that we have an approved APP but we were told that our budget is 4/12, that means we have a budget for supplies for the next 3 to 4 months.
2. can we procure items that is on the submitted APP although there is no approved APP
3. I know we have provision for lump sum like, repair and maitenance etc, but do we have to itemized the preparation of ordinary office supplies/IT supplies or we can just lump sump it according to the approved budget.

Welcome to the forum sir noel , for us in the LGU we procure items on a quarterly basis with provisions of 20% reserve as a financial management scheme so that financial obligations would be handle well during the last quarter of the year.

If you have an approved APP that you have to adjust the consolidation on a quarterly basis provided items to be procured are still those on the original otherwise you will have to seek supplemental APP (if that is the case). All items even ITs should be itemized already and it is the BAC through the BAC Sec who will then consolidate and determine the mode of procurement .

Perhaps you could prepare an APP for maintenance and always make a 10% provision for emergency (which have several conditions naman).
