BONGAO, Tawi-Tawi – The provincial government of Tawi-Tawi yesterday asked contractors to speed up implementation of the P29 million projects spread all over the province.

According to Tawi-Tawi Gov. Sadikul Sahali, there is a need to remind contractors to complete the projects as scheduled in order to benefit the constituents in the soonest possible time.

Sahali and a team of provincial engineers earlier visited all projects in the province funded under the provincial impact project of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM).

The funds for the projects was taken from the yearly P1 billion seed money of the ARMM and was released to the provincial government here early this year by ARMM acting Gov. Ansaruddin Adiong.

Among the projects that Sahali and his team visited include the newly completed Mongkai-Obol Road, and the Mongkai-Tonggosong Road – covering a distance of three kilometers in Simunul town.

The ongoing construction of the Onggos-Matata Road in Tanduh Bas town, Parangan-Balimbing Road in Panglima Sugala town, Ligayan-Tandukwak Road in Sibutu town, and the Duhol Bato-Guppah Road in Mapun town. (Nonoy E. Lacson)
