I think the bid amount in BID FORM is considered in Abstract of Bids as Read and the amount of bid in the DETAILED ESTIMATES may be considered in Abstract of Bids as Calculated.

Very Happy i beg to disagree ikuz23. Amount in Words in the Bill of Quantities shall always prevail over all and above things following the procedures of Bid Evaluation from (a) to (d) of Sec. 32.2.3. Detailed Estimate is (only) a requirement in the "pass-fail" criteria of the PE because prices of materials used by the Bidder in coming with the Bid shall also be used whenever a Variation Order/Amendment to Order is introduced during the implementation of the project.

After instituting corrections to all component items using paragraph (a), the Bid Price per item may led to the increase/decrease in the total Bid Prices and changes in the amount in words (and figures) in the Bid Form shall be introduced by the BAC for proper ranking of Bids Very Happy
