Lawmaker: Renegotiate MRT deal to prevent fare hike

MANILA, Philippines - The Aquino administration should look into renegotiating the Metro Rail Transit (MRT) contract with its builders and contractors for improved terms to prevent further fare increases, Quezon City Rep. Winston Castelo said yesterday.
