thanks for the prompt reply but is it a standard practise to use 6 regular headcount for every 1 reliever? If the requirement of the client is to have a fix headcount everyday of operation i think the contractor will have a reliever for rest day personnel.

I would like to seek for your comment on this computation:

Cost per day reliever = contracted monthly rate x 12/calendar days
assume monthly rate of 25K
calendar days = 326.1 (including reg and sp holidays)
No. of days/month = 52weeks/year / 12months = 4.33
= 25k x 12/326.10
= P919.96/day
Monthly rate reliever = cost per day x 4.33
= 919.96 x 4.33
= P3,983.44/month

perhaps you should provide me a breakdown of the 326.1 days per year as you have given. all other inputs and the way you computed it is correct.

326.10 working days came from the ff:

total no. of days in a year = 365days
total no. of rest day in a year = 52 days/month
Total working days = 313days

Total regular hodyas = 11
Special hollday (30ds x 7days) = 2.1 days

Totsl no.,of days in 2013 = 326.10 days

what is 30ds and what is 7 days for?

are these employees required to work on regular holidays? how about special days?

Sorry its 30% since it is a special holiday. 7 days means we have 7 days of special holidays for 2013. Yes like security and janitorial, they are required to work during holidays and special holidays

based on the additional information you have provided your 326.1 is correct. We have a different way of computing it (on the basis of the number of holidays/special days you provided) in our company but yielded the same answer. Please below:

Regular working days 295(6 working days excluding holiday/special
days and rest days)
Worked regular holidays 22 (11X200%)
Worked special holidays 9.1 (7X130%
Total 326.1
