Sister company

Post by alpha1 on Thu Aug 09, 2012 6:03 pm

A certain company has just been established this May, 2012 and it has no contracts or projects that has undertaken until now but this company is a sister company or a subsidiary company of a bigger foreign company. Does the contracts made by the foreign company maybe extended to the sister company as if it was done by the company who wish to bid?

It has the same President & CEO though based on their Articles of Incorporation, 62.5% of the stock is own by a Filipino.

No. For the purposes of procurement under RA 9184, experience could only be acquired thru partnerships (Joint Venture). Smile

Both companies have their own separate and distinct corporate personality. therefore I honestly believe its not possible. bounce
