Revised Guidelines for Contract Price Escalation

Post by dlsn on Thu Oct 23, 2008 4:37 pm

The GPPB has recently revised the Guidelines for Contract Price Escalation originally issued last 2004. Among the notable amendments to said Guidelines are:

  1. The use of NSO monthly price index over a period of 30 months (formerly 10 years) reckoned from the date of bid opening (formerly date of contract award) in computing for the 2 Standard Deviation.
  2. The allowable range for K was decreased to 5% from the original 10%.
Read the revised Guidelines and share your thoughts. A copy of the Revised Guidelines for Contract Price Escalation may be downloaded from this link: http://www.gppb.gov.ph/issuances08/Guidelines/2008/PriceEscalation.pdf
