Post Qual - a necessity?

Post by Marujuichi on Thu Sep 13, 2012 12:04 pm

Good day. Just wanna ask if doing Post Qualification is really necessary. We are from Davao and the winning bidder is from Cebu. Does it mean that we need to go to Cebu to conduct Post Qual? Please help. Thanks

You should still need to go to Davao. This is to check if the place of business (office) is existing or not. You also need to check the equipment of the winning bidder. You also need to test-check an on-going and completed projects which were indicated in their eligibility document. By the way post-qualification is required under ra 9184.

Who will shoulder the traveling expenses for the inspection? What if there are no funds available how are you going to submit the post qualification report?

Peace!

of course the procuring entity will shoulder it. perhaps you may assign one TWG to do the job and report to the BAC for it. do they have branch office at cebu?
