LAN and CCTV

Post by bogart on Tue Feb 19, 2013 8:40 am

Good day!

Our agency is currently in the final stages of preparation for a proposed rehabilitation of its computer local area network and installation of CCTV system. In this regard, I am wondering on what type of procurement shall we pursue. Is it infrastructure or goods? Thanks. Cheers!

It will be Goods. There is also a term in IT called "infrastructure" but it is not with the same context in procurement classification which means "civil works". Smile

I see the point engrjhez Very Happy. Clearly, the procurement involves equipment, repair and maintenance of equipment, or similar or analogous cases which are considered as Goods.

Procurement process should be determined by the amount of the ABC and the threshold amount allowed.
