Public Auction

Post by Dong S on Fri Mar 15, 2013 2:11 pm

Anyone please share to me step by step procedure of PUBLIC AUCTION? Like, our LGU wishes to make a public offer on the newly constructed two-storey building. As i read COA Cir 92-386, the rules's are not clear that i cannot completely understand the whole process! But first, is it right for us to conduct PUBLIC AUCTION?

I presumed you used the term "public auction" as a mode of disposing properties. If it were so, it is not procurement, not governed by the rules issued by GPPB.

It is the COA that regulates the disposal of government property. But, I am wondering why a newly constructed two-storey building is being auctioned.

You're right "Abecedarian", I mean disposal of property when I said "Public Auction". And that COA Rules regulates the same. Am I right when I say "Public Auction" is not the way the two storey building may be offered to interested lessor? If that will be the case what wud be the process to follow?
