Thanks for your concern engrjhez, actually mahirap nga dito lalo na just right after the typhoon (pepeng), maraming nasirang property, namatay and nawalan ng tirahan, at na isolate kami dito pero as of this writing at least open na ang kenon rd kaya may mga supplies ng dumarating at may internet na yahoooo!!!. marami akong na miss na discussion pero kahit na late ako at least nabasa ko pa rin mga contribtions nyo, ang gagaling nyo talaga, mabuhay and keep up the good work.

our beloved Mindanao will always be the Land of Promise,, I watch TV this morning,, mag i-import na naman dw tayo ng bigas para buffer stock natin due to the havoc wrecked by our friend ondoy and pepeng.. it's really sad to note na hindi na naggamit msyado yung lupa natin dito sa Mindanao for rice production.. i observed that most of our NIA canals here in our place needs immediate repair and maintenance para ma-maximize yung patubig, i asked their engineers bakit walang maintenance, eh sabi kulang daw sa pondo...some farmer organizations are seeking the help of the LGU for support infrastucture which we did, problema hindi naman kami ang nag co-collect sa farmers para mabalik yung pondo namin at nppunta sa coffers ng NIA yung collection... I am but a small voice here from way down south, but i hope that the NG shall re-consider Mindanao as the "bread basket" of the Philippines for food security para sa Pilipinas nating Mahal, dahil sa totoo lang wala kaming bagyo dito at magganda yung lupa sayang lamang at hindi na ma-maximize. Typhoon pepeng wreack havoc here at the Cordillera most especially in the Muncipality of La Trinidad and the City of Baguio. It isolated the City of Baguio due to the fact that the five entry and exit points of the city have been rendered impassable. Gasoline and food stuffs dwindled and Mayor Bautista poised to issue an Administrative Order requiring the observance of an "odd-even" scheme for vehicles to follow. He suspended the opening of all classes in all levels from Monday to Wednesday. This actions by the Mayor were to regulate the sale of the dwindling supply of gasoline; but when Kennon Road And Marcos Highway was opened, goods started to trickle to the city. When asked how they were able to open the two (2) arteries, Sec. Ebdane responded by saying that they asked contractors to first defray the cost of rehabilitating the arteries. Your opinions please.
