GMA and Yap charged of plunder and graft

Post by jamsadain on Thu Jan 14, 2010 10:38 am

In the January 07, 2010 issue of the Philippine Star, an article talked about the charges of plunder and graft filed by militant groups against Pres. Gloria Arroyo and Sec. Arthur Yap for violating the Anti-Plunder Law, the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act, and the Government Procurement Reform Act because of their accused involvement in the purchase of the allegedly overpriced ice-making machines of the National Agribusiness Corp. last year. Read more of the story here.

The following day, Malacańang dismissed the move to file a plunder complaint against Pres. Arroyo and Sec. Yap. Read the article here.
